Metro Catholic Outreach – MCO

MCO Update from August 28, 2019

Greetings, it’s another busy week in our pantry, as expected. We are preparing food baskets for over 470 people from over 140 families. School has begun, but a higher demand for food assistance continues. We rely on your support to continually serve this need-thank you.
NEWS-
Welcome, Jackie!
We are pleased to announce that for the first time in several years, Metro Catholic Outreach is expanding our staff. Our board has approved another part-time position to be added in order to allow us more flexibility for employee scheduling and coverage of the food pantry.
Jackie Stallman, a member of St. John XXIII and current MCO volunteer, has accepted the new position and will officially begin working with Kate and Christine in September. She has a degree in social work and will be assuming food pantry related duties as Christine focuses more on volunteer and garden coordination.
