Meals that Matter
Volunteers Needed — Meals That Matter
Meals That Matter provides pre-cooked, homemade meals to families and senior citizens in our St. Matthew community who are going through a difficult season in their lives.
Those we serve may be:
• Families facing financial hardship
• Individuals dealing with health challenges
• Caregivers who are overwhelmed
• Seniors with limited or poor mobility
At St. Matthew Catholic Church, we believe our parishioners are our family and when someone in our St. Matthew community is in need, we come together to help.
You can help by:
• Helping with meal prep at the church
• Assisting with assembling meals
• Making phone calls and check-ins
• Delivering meals to families and seniors
• Donating food for our cooking days
• Volunteering short-term or long-term
Food items we always need:
• Ground beef
• Chicken breast
• Canned tuna
• Beans (black, navy, kidney, chili)
• Tomatoes (diced, stewed, puréed, paste)
• Pasta (macaroni, rotini, spaghetti)
Every donation of money, gift cards, time, food, or delivery helps us care for families and senior citizens in our St. Matthew community.

Thank you for being the hands and heart of our St. Matthew community.
Do you know a parishioner or a St. Matthew family in need of help with food? Please complete the following form to recommend them to receive meals.
After the form has been filled out, we will reach out to the family to get some details (number of people in the home, address, etc.)
